Domaine de Tara is a very proud find for us, and a range which we bring into our Cornish wine merchants direct. Located in the Cotes de Ventoux region, the area lies within a band of vineyards strectching down the Rhone valley to Avignon, and has some of the oldest recorded sites for wine production, some since 30BC! This small producer has 11 hectares of vines, on east facing slopes, at the heart of the Luberon National park in France. Run by young couple Michele and Patrick Follea, the vines are grown and tended with care and passion. A truly special wine, which we are incredibly excited to have in the UK and in our online wine shop.

The Terre D’Ocre wines are fermented and aged for 12 months in Stainless steel, to achieve a vibrant and clean style of wine, perfectly displayed in this fruity and smooth Rhone red wine. A warm blend of 45% Grenache, 45% Carignan, and 10% Syrah, the Domaine de Tara 'Terre D'Ocre' Rouge has soft tannins, still with a touch of spice and ripe berry notes. Lively and fruit driven, it is a great wine and food match for BBQ's or hearty salads.
