Domaine de Tara is a very proud find for us, and a range which we bring into our Cornish wine merchants direct. Located in the Cotes de Ventoux region, the area lies within a band of vineyards strectching down the Rhone valley to Avignon, and has some of the oldest recorded sites for wine production, some since 30BC! This small producer has 11 hectares of vines, on east facing slopes, at the heart of the Luberon National park. Run by young couple Michele and Patrick Follea, the vines are grown and tended with care and passion. A truly special wine, which we are incredibly excited to have in the UK!

The Domaine de Tara 'Haut Pierres' Blanc is part of a range matured in French Oak for 12 months giving aromas of brioche and gingerbread to the wine. The blend comprises classic Rhone white wine varieties, in this case being 55% Rousanne, and 45% Grenache Blanc. The Domaine de Tara 'Haut Pierres' Blanc is a powerful wine, with dried apricot and peach notes, a fine balance of acidity and a velvety finish.
