Wine Merchants & Wholesalers

Welcome to
Experience Wine Ltd

Our website selection represents approximately 50% of our range. To view the wines please click on “wine” on the top. We hope you can find some exciting wines to suit your tastes.

Experience Wine is based on the edge of the former stannery town of Lostwithiel, an independent wine company who look after retail and trade customers.

CONTACT

Experience Wine is all about the wine and offering great personalised service to our customers. Originally established in Truro Cornwall in 2008, we started with just a retail store in the city centre.

We have grown, expanded and now relocated to Lostwithiel in Cornwall. We have a passion and enthusiasm for exciting wines from independent producers and have the pleasure to work with some amazing wineries and people. We class ourselves as wine merchants, and not wine specialists. We do have some very special wines, but our core focus is sourcing exciting wines which have identity and heritage at a sensible price. The vast majority of our wines are shipped directly from small producers, so we can offer the most competitive pricing and several UK exclusives.

Producer Profiles

We have highlighted a number of producers here as we feel we are privileged to work with them. Some of the producers have supported us since the early days when we first started, whilst others are latest finds which we have discovered. What they all have in common is an absolute passion to produce exceptional wines with identity. In some instances there is a long family history tracing back many generations, whilst others are fairly new on the scene in terms of wine history.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have dealt with Nigel for several years now and are always very pleased with his recommendations, he takes the time to learn his customer's tastes and also looks to introduce us to new experiences. We have been especially pleased with the Haut-Medoc Chateau Caronne St Gemme, a delicious full-bodied wine and more recently, a white Rioja Eguren Ugarte. Nigel has come up trumps with his quality of service particularly under the present circumstances, which we very much appreciate.
