In the wine world all too often Australia is summed up as simple wines from large corporate entities and put into one basket. What we have found with Australia is a wealth of diversity from some stunning regions, some amazing small growers and an interesting collection of varieties. People and regionality is what drives this country for us when we are sourcing new wines. The Byrne family's Devlins Mount Shiraz from Clare Valley, South Australia is a fine example of great everyday drinking Shiraz.
